Bruce Powers

Hi, my name is Bruce Powers and I have been working in the IT Industry since 1989.   With over 20 years of experience, I have seen it all and just about done it all!

I have run IT departments for large companies servicing hundreds of users, designed and implemented custom software, and managed support systems to protect corporate systems from viral attacks.

I currently own and operate an IT Consulting company working with one of the nation’s largest retailer along with many of their vendors.

I am married and have two daughters, both of which are spoiled rotten.  I also have 4 dogs (aka “the petting zoo”).

Mike McDowell

I am the second half of the Powers Zone team.  I have known Bruce for a very long time, and he and I have worked together on different IT projects over the past 12 years or so.

I have been working in IT and on IT projects since I was in the NAVY back in 1989. 

Much like Bruce, I have run IT Departments for some large companies.  I was mainly involved with integration and implementation of software applications that ran the company.  I have developed custom software but don’t consider myself a programmer.  In the course of doing “what I do” I have had to address viral threats and implement security systems to contain those threats.

I currently own Innovative Computer Solutions (www.ics-it.net), and I provide IT solutions for many companies in the Northwest Arkansas Area.

My wife and I have been married since 1992, and we have two daughters - Jordan and Bailey.
